Training

This year, we placed a significant focus on training and development for our team, completing over 1,100 training sessions between us. Some were delivered remotely, some in-house bespoke through external providers, and some, we travelled to Switzerland, Spain and Portugal.

Topics of Discussion

Throughout the year, we delved into several key topics which included:

Low Impedance Transformer Differential Protection

| Blog, Featured Posts, Modelling | No Comments
Transformer differential protection is something we look at during our power system studies to safeguard transformers from faults and abnormal conditions. Transformers play a critical role in power transmission and…

The Benefits of Simulating Your Electrical Network

| Blog, Featured Posts, Modelling, power systems analysis | No Comments
We use cutting-edge technology from ETAP to develop a digital twin of your electrical network. This is a powerful virtual replica of a physical system which we can then subject…

Decarbonisation in Data Centers: Paving the Way for Sustainability

| Blog, Decarbonisation, Featured Posts, Modelling | No Comments
Data centers are high energy users which raises concerns over their carbon footprint and environmental impact. They now must consider how to reduce their co2 emissions and push for more…

Unlocking the Power of ETAP

In today's fast-paced world, the demand for efficient, reliable, and sustainable power systems is greater than ever. Electrical engineers and system designers face the daunting challenge of creating and managing…

Circuit Breaker Protection Settings Management

| Blog, Featured Posts, Modelling, power systems analysis | No Comments
If a site has undergone multiple extensions or retrofits to its electrical system, the management of the protection settings can become quite difficult, as any changes to protection settings on-site…

Enhancing Protection Coordination for Efficient Electrical Networks

| Blog, Featured Posts, Modelling, Power Monitoring System | No Comments
Power system modeling, with a specific focus on protection device coordination (PDC), is crucial for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of electrical networks. Through accurate modeling and coordination of protective…

Corporate Social Responsibility

Our commitment to giving back continued this year as we participated in Engineers Week visiting local schools to promote STEM education. We provided sponsorship to the local football club, TUD Electrical & Electronic Graduate Awards, and the top prize to TUD students for their poster projects. We assisted a local school with their Engineers Ireland Young Engineers Award entries and supported numerous charities. Additional details can be found on our CSR page.
