Senior IT Project & Systems Administrator

We are seeking a motivated & highly skilled IT Project & Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, and providing exceptional technical support to our team.

This hybrid role requires a self-starter comfortable working independently in a technical environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Conduct team training to enhance confidence and efficiency in using technical tools.
  • Lead and manage IT projects related to non-technical workflows (e.g., learning platforms, project management tools)
  • Advise on and implement IT security best practices.
  • Assist with ISO 27001 certification efforts.
  • Interface effectively with vendors and development teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage software testing and rollout throughout the business. 

Technologies You Will Work With:

  • Google Workspaces Administration
  • Project Management tools; Hive and GitHub Agile tools
  • API’s, Scripting & Reporting e.g. LookerStudio, Python

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration and project management.
  • Proven track record of managing IT projects and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Experience with VPN and Virtualisation technologies. 
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information.
  • Experience in a fast-growing business environment is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude, sense of humour, and a can-do mentality.
  • Legal authorization to live and work in Ireland.

Position Details:

  • Type: Full time role, Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs/week
  • Location: Hybrid – with Main Office & Server Hub in Balbriggan North County Dublin
  • Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience
