As I am sure you are aware the threat from Covid-19 has significantly increased in the last number of days. Yesterday afternoon, the Irish Government issued a statement advising that as of 6pm March 12th 2020 all schools, colleges and childcare facilities will be closed until March 29th. Gatherings are to be cancelled, travel restricted and anyone who can should work remotely. Full Statement can be found here
Premium Power takes the safety of our employees, suppliers, customers and the general public very seriously and in line with this advice we have recommended that all staff self isolate and work from home.
Please rest assured that this will have absolutely no impact on how we carry out business. Thankfully it is something we have prepared for and all the relevant infrastructure is in place to allow all staff members carry out their duties to the same ability as they would on any other given day.
All employees are contactable via the usual means (phone / email / video call etc.), with no restrictions to the services we can provide.
While this is not a situation any of us wanted to be in, it is in the best interests of everyone that we follow the advice being given.
