Modern pharmaceutical processes are critically dependent on power quality to maintain reliability and product quality. The client needed a complete site wide electrical power monitoring solution. The system was required to monitor, alert and provide advanced analytics for power quality and site wide energy consumption monitoring.
HOW WE HELPED
As this was a green field project and we were involved at the design stage, it allowed us to apply our extensive knowledge and experience from years working in the energy efficiency and power quality solutions area.
As a result, we designed, installed and integrated a fully bespoke PME system that delivered the capabilities to monitor their electrical system. Our fully integrated solution enables electrical efficiency and power quality monitoring across the site.
Our solution uses alerts, as well as powerful and intuitive analytics, to ensure efficiency, product quality and process reliability are maintained to the high standards required.
The client received an end solution that was designed exactly to suit their needs. Unplanned interruptions were avoided and inefficiencies identified before the consequences are too costly. The delivered solution enables the client to continually monitor their electrical usage, identify inefficiencies and power quality issues in real time and rectify any possible problems before unplanned interruptions occur.
Located in Cruiserath, North West Dublin, this facility employs over 1,000 people in the biopharmaceutical industry.
