2017 has been a year of growth at Premium Power, reflected in some exciting new hires for the company. As safety engineering services have developed and clients have requested more risk assessment and procedural training, Premium Power has been working to expand its outreach in these areas.

David Stewart, a former electrical plant maintenance engineer and safety specialist for several European and US manufacturing companies has joined the Premium Power team as Electrical Safety Engineer.

He will be working to help clients develop their safety procedures, assisting on training and risk assessments and advising on health and safety principles, practices and legal frameworks. With his background working within the multi-national corporate environment, David brings a specialist knowledge of experience on the ground and understands the challenges that individual facilities face.

Following two successful arc flash training events in Birmingham and Sunderland in 2016, Mark Pearson joins Premium Power as Technical Business Development Manager. Mark will be working across the UK, bringing Premium Power’s services to a wide range of clients. As a former senior electrical engineer with BP, Mark’s experience in the oil and gas industry lends itself to the many high profile companies seeking to implement arc flash and electrical safety programmes throughout the UK. Two arc flash training events are due to be announced for Autumn and Winter 2017 – keep an eye on Premium Power’s events page for more.

Finally, Lee Donnelly joins Premium Power as Marketing Executive Ireland & UK. Lee will be working closely with Premium Power’s Marketing Manager Nicola Cassidy to help deliver events and materials focusing on the work Premium Power do in electrical safety and building and designing resilient electrical systems.
